Pharaoh said to Jacob, “How long have you lived?” ¹ 

So Pharaoh said, “Go and bury your father, just as he made you swear to do.” ¹ 

So Moses went out from Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord,

But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to release them.

and tossed ¹  Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea, for his loyal love endures,

There at home they will say, ‘Pharaoh king of Egypt is just a big noise! ¹  He has let the most opportune moment pass by.’ ² 

Tahpenes’ sister gave birth to his son, ¹  named Genubath. Tahpenes raised ²  him in Pharaoh’s palace; Genubath grew up in Pharaoh’s palace among Pharaoh’s sons.

Pharaoh gave his men orders about Abram, ¹  and so they expelled him, along with his wife and all his possessions.

Now ¹  in Egypt the Midianites ²  sold Joseph ³  to Potiphar, one of Pharaoh’s officials, the captain of the guard. ⁴ 

Pharaoh was enraged with his two officials, ¹  the cupbearer and the baker,

He restored the chief cupbearer to his former position ¹  so that he placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand,

The thin heads swallowed up the seven healthy and full heads. Then Pharaoh woke up and realized it was a dream. ¹ 

Then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, “Today I recall my failures. ¹ 

Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “In my dream I was standing ¹  by the edge of the Nile.

“So now Pharaoh should look ¹  for a wise and discerning man ²  and give him authority ³  over all the land of Egypt.

So Pharaoh asked his officials, “Can we find a man like Joseph, ¹  one in whom the Spirit of God is present?” ² 

“See here,” Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I place ¹  you in authority over all the land of Egypt.” ² 

He wept loudly; ¹  the Egyptians heard it and Pharaoh’s household heard about it. ² 

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Your father and your brothers have come to you.

Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Yes, do so.” ¹  So the young girl ²  went and got ³  the child’s mother. ⁴
