You must make holy garments ¹  for your brother Aaron, for glory and for beauty. ² 

Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar and sprinkled it on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and his sons’ garments with him. So he consecrated Aaron, his garments, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him.

and anyone who carries their carcass must wash his clothes and will be unclean until the evening.

Also, they must take away the ashes from the altar ¹  and spread a purple cloth over it.

“For you took pledges ¹  from your brothers for no reason, and you stripped the clothing from the naked. ² 

They are dividing up my clothes among themselves; they are rolling dice ¹  for my garments.

May a curse attach itself to him, like a garment one puts on, ¹  or a belt ²  one wears continually!

Can a man hold ¹  fire ²  against his chest ³  without ⁴  burning his clothes?

Take a man’s ¹  garment ²  when he has given security for a stranger, ³  and when he gives surety for strangers, ⁴  hold him ⁵  in pledge.

Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes ¹  as he stood there before the angel.

When they go out to the outer court to the people, they must remove the garments they were ministering in, and place them in the holy chambers; they must put on other garments so that they will not transmit holiness to the people with their garments. ¹ 

Later Reuben returned to the cistern to find that Joseph was not in it! ¹  He tore his clothes,

Then you are to clothe Aaron with the holy garments and anoint him and sanctify him so that he may minister as my priest.

and the one who carries their carcass must wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you.

Anyone who touches his bed ¹  must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. ² 

The one who touches the body ¹  of the man with a discharge must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

If the man with a discharge spits on a person who is ceremonially clean, ¹  that person must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
