Three days later Laban discovered Jacob had left. ¹ 

The next day the Shechemites ¹  came out to the field. When Abimelech heard about it, ² 

Abimelech heard ¹  that all the leaders of the Tower of Shechem were in one place. ² 

It was reported to Saul saying, “David is at Naioth in Ramah.”

The woman conceived and then sent word to David saying, “I’m pregnant.”

Then Joab sent a full battle report to David. ¹ 

When Solomon was told that Shimei had gone from Jerusalem to Gath and had then returned,

So Hathach returned and related Mordecai’s instructions ¹  to Esther.

To whom ¹  did you utter these words? And whose spirit has come forth from your mouth? ² 

¹ His thunder announces the coming storm, the cattle also, concerning the storm’s approach.

“Where were you when I laid the foundation ¹  of the earth? Tell me, ²  if you possess understanding!

Have you considered the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know it all!

Sing praises to the Lord, who rules ¹  in Zion! Tell the nations what he has done! ² 

They will come and tell about his saving deeds; ¹  they will tell a future generation what he has accomplished. ² 

The heavens declare his fairness, ¹  for God is judge. ²  (Selah)

O Lord, give me the words! ¹  Then my mouth will praise you. ² 

O God, you have taught me since I was young, and I am still declaring ¹  your amazing deeds.

As for me, I will continually tell what you have done; ¹  I will sing praises to the God of Jacob!

The sky declares his justice, and all the nations see his splendor.

He announced that he would do mighty deeds for his people, giving them a land that belonged to other nations. ¹
