You are to make two cherubim ¹  of gold; you are to make them of hammered metal on the two ends of the atonement lid.

In the inner sanctuary he made two cherubs of olive wood; each stood 15 feet ¹  high.

He carved cherubs, palm trees, and flowers in bloom and plated them with gold, leveled out over the carvings.

He overlaid the temple’s rafters, thresholds, walls and doors with gold; he carved decorative cherubim on the walls.

In the most holy place he made two images of cherubim and plated them with gold.

The combined wingspan of these cherubim was 30 feet. ¹  They stood upright, facing inward. ² 

He made the curtain out of violet, purple, crimson, and white fabrics, and embroidered on it decorative cherubim.

He mounted ¹  a winged angel ²  and flew; he glided ³  on the wings of the wind. ⁴ 

(The cherubim were standing on the south side ¹  of the temple when the man went in, and a cloud filled the inner court.)

The sound of the wings of the cherubim could be heard from the outer court, like the sound of the sovereign God ¹  when he speaks.

Then the glory of the Lord moved away from the threshold of the temple and stopped above the cherubim.

Then the cherubim spread ¹  their wings with their wheels alongside them while the glory of the God of Israel hovered above them.

from the ground to the area above the entrance, cherubim and decorative palm trees were carved on the wall of the outer sanctuary.

On the two doors made of olive wood he carved ¹  cherubs, palm trees, and flowers in bloom, and he plated them with gold. ²  He plated the cherubs and the palm trees with hammered gold. ³ 

The combined wing span of the cherubs was 30 feet. ¹  One of the first cherub’s wings was seven and one-half feet long and touched one wall of the temple; its other wing was also seven and one-half feet long and touched one of the second cherub’s wings. ² 

The Lord ¹  said to the man dressed in linen, “Go between the wheelwork ²  underneath the cherubim. ³  Fill your hands with burning coals from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city.” He went as I watched.

When he drove ¹  the man out, he placed on the eastern side ²  of the orchard in Eden angelic sentries ³  who used the flame of a whirling sword ⁴  to guard the way to the tree of life.

¹ “The tabernacle itself ²  you are to make with ³  ten curtains of fine twisted linen and blue and purple and scarlet; ⁴  you are to make them with ⁵  cherubim that are the work of an artistic designer.

“You are to make a special curtain ¹  of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine twisted linen; it is to be made ²  with cherubim, the work of an artistic designer.
