When all Israel’s elders had arrived, the Levites lifted the ark.

The king summoned all the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem. ¹ 

Grandchildren ¹  are like ²  a crown ³  to the elderly, and the glory ⁴  of children is their parents. ⁵

You must stand up in the presence of the aged, honor the presence of an elder, and fear your God. I am the Lord.

Then Moses got up ¹  and went to Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel went after him.

The elders of his own city must send for him and remove him from there to deliver him over to the blood avenger ¹  to die.
