From where shall I get ¹  meat to give to this entire people, for they cry to me, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat!’ ² 

You must offer your burnt offerings, both meat and blood, on the altar of the Lord your God; the blood of your other sacrifices ¹  you must pour out on his ²  altar while you eat the meat.

So he went down and dipped in the Jordan seven times, as the prophet had instructed. ¹  His skin became as smooth as a young child’s ²  and he was healed.

I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will get drunk on their own blood, as if it were wine. ¹  Then all humankind ²  will recognize that I am the Lord, your deliverer, your protector, ³  the powerful ruler of Jacob.” ⁴ 

I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them; ¹  I will remove the hearts of stone from their bodies ²  and I will give them tender hearts, ³ 

I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the heart of stone ¹  from your body and give you a heart of flesh. ² 

Now Abraham was 99 years old ¹  when he was circumcised; ² 

but the leftovers from the meat of the sacrifice must be burned up in the fire ¹  on the third day.

but the flesh and the hide he completely burned up ¹  outside the camp. ² 

“When someone’s body has a boil on its skin ¹  and it heals,

But if he does not wash his clothes ¹  and does not bathe his body, he will bear his punishment for iniquity.’” ² 

Then a breath of air ¹  passes ²  by my face; it makes ³  the hair of my flesh stand up.

Is my strength like that of stones? ¹  or is my flesh made of bronze?

My body ¹  is clothed ²  with worms ³  and dirty scabs; ⁴  my skin is broken ⁵  and festering.

“Do you have eyes of flesh, ¹  or do you see ²  as a human being sees? ³ 

Why ¹  do I put myself in peril, ²  and take my life in my hands?

Only his flesh has pain for himself, ¹  and he mourns for himself.” ² 

My bones stick to my skin and my flesh; ¹  I have escaped ²  alive ³  with only the skin of my teeth.

Why do you pursue me like God does? ¹  Will you never be satiated with my flesh? ² 

And after my skin has been destroyed, ¹  yet in my flesh ²  I will see God, ³
