“In this way Aaron is to enter into the sanctuary – with a young bull ¹  for a sin offering ²  and a ram for a burnt offering. ³ 

So Moses accepted the carts and the oxen and gave them to the Levites.

He gave two carts and four oxen to the Gershonites, as their service required;

one young bull, one ram, and one male lamb in its first year, for a burnt offering;

And when you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice for discharging a vow or as a peace offering to the Lord,

then a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of finely ground flour mixed with half a hin of olive oil must be presented ¹  with the young bull,

And Balak sacrificed bulls and sheep, and sent some ¹  to Balaam, and to the princes who were with him.

when your cattle and flocks increase, when you have plenty of silver and gold, and when you have abundance of everything,

Samuel replied, “If that is the case, ¹  then what is this sound of sheep in my ears and the sound of cattle that I hear?”
