Because Joseph, her husband to be, ¹  was a righteous man, and because he did not want to disgrace her, he intended to divorce her ²  privately.

Whoever is not with me is against me, ¹  and whoever does not gather with me scatters. ² 

So ¹  Jesus, when he began his ministry, ²  was about thirty years old. He was ³  the son (as was supposed) ⁴  of Joseph, the son ⁵  of Heli,

For ¹  Peter ²  and all who were with him were astonished ³  at the catch of fish that they had taken,

Whoever is not with me is against me, ¹  and whoever does not gather with me scatters. ² 

He ¹  was longing to eat ²  the carob pods ³  the pigs were eating, but ⁴  no one gave him anything.

And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing ¹  wrong.”

He is not here, but has been raised! ¹  Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, ² 

No one has ever seen God. The only one, ¹  himself God, who is in closest fellowship with ²  the Father, has made God ³  known. ⁴ 

Nicodemus, who had gone to Jesus ¹  before and who was one of the rulers, ²  said, ³ 

I wrote ¹  the former ²  account, ³  Theophilus, ⁴  about all that Jesus began to do and teach

that you abstain from meat that has been sacrificed to idols ¹  and from blood and from what has been strangled ²  and from sexual immorality. ³  If you keep yourselves from doing these things, ⁴  you will do well. Farewell. ⁵ 

When you examine ¹  him yourself, you will be able to learn from him ²  about all these things we are accusing him of doing.” ³ 

When his accusers stood up, they did not charge ¹  him with any of the evil deeds I had suspected. ² 

“Regarding all the things I have been accused of by the Jews, King Agrippa, ¹  I consider myself fortunate that I am about to make my defense before you today,

To those free from the law I became like one free from the law (though I am not free from God’s law but under the law of Christ) to gain those free from the law.

Then he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters ¹  at one time, most of whom are still alive, ²  though some have fallen asleep. ³ 

Now I mean that the heir, as long as he is a minor, ¹  is no different from a slave, though he is the owner ²  of everything.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us,

Among these are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I handed over to Satan ¹  to be taught not to blaspheme.
