Now they understand ¹  that everything ²  you have given me comes from you,

So ¹  Peter ²  stayed many days in Joppa with a man named ³  Simon, a tanner. ⁴ 

After ¹  the city officials ²  had received bail ³  from Jason and the others, they released them.

saying, “This man is persuading ¹  people to worship God in a way contrary to ²  the law!”

What shall we say then? Is there injustice with God? Absolutely not!

In whatever situation someone was called, brothers and sisters, ¹  let him remain in it with God.

For I did not receive it or learn it from any human source; ¹  instead I received it ²  by a revelation of Jesus Christ. ³ 

For it is right ¹  for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,
