On that day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons and do ¹  many powerful deeds?’

And a leper ¹  approached, and bowed low before him, saying, ²  “Lord, if ³  you are willing, you can make me clean.”

“Lord, ¹  my servant ²  is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible anguish.”

Another ¹  of the ²  disciples said to him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

But when he saw the strong wind he became afraid. And starting to sink, he cried out, ¹  “Lord, save me!”

They ¹  became greatly distressed ²  and each one began to say to him, “Surely not I, Lord?”

and said, “Sir, we remember that while that deceiver was still alive he said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’

Then ¹  Peter said, “Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for everyone?” ² 

Someone ¹  asked ²  him, “Lord, will only a few ³  be saved?” So ⁴  he said to them,

Then ¹  the slave said, ‘Sir, what you instructed has been done, and there is still room.’ ² 

So ¹  the first one came before him and said, ‘Sir, ²  your mina ³  has made ten minas more.’

Then ¹  the second one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has made five minas.’

But Peter ¹  said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!” ² 

So ¹  they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” ²  Then he told them, “It is enough.” ³ 

When ¹  those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said, “Lord, should ²  we use our swords?” ³ 

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.

So the sisters sent a message ¹  to Jesus, ²  “Lord, look, the one you love is sick.”

Martha ¹  said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.

He asked, ¹  “Where have you laid him?” ²  They replied, ³  “Lord, come and see.”

Then he came to Simon Peter. Peter ¹  said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash ²  my feet?”
