so then, understand ¹  that those who believe are the sons of Abraham. ² 

taking advantage of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

For there are many ¹  rebellious people, idle talkers, and deceivers, especially those with Jewish connections, ² 

And since ¹  this was not done without a sworn affirmation – for the others have become priests without a sworn affirmation,

And the others ¹  who became priests were numerous, because death prevented them ²  from continuing in office, ³ 

These people are divisive, ¹  worldly, ²  devoid of the Spirit. ³ 

and no lie was found on their lips; ¹  they ²  are blameless.

The field is the world and the good seed are the people ¹  of the kingdom. The weeds are the people ²  of the evil one,

But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus had already known from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) ¹ 

For all who ¹  rely on doing the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not keep on doing everything written in the book of the law.” ² 

But those who have believing masters must not show them less respect ¹  because they are brothers. Instead they are to serve all the more, because those who benefit from their service are believers and dearly loved. ² Teach them and exhort them about these things. ³ 

These are the ones who have not defiled themselves ¹  with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from humanity as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb,

“Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are voracious wolves. ¹ 

And aren’t all his sisters here with us? Where did he get all this?” ¹ 

Leave them! They are blind guides. ¹  If someone who is blind leads another who is blind, ²  both will fall into a pit.”

After he said, “From foreigners,” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons ¹  are free.

For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”

So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels ¹  in heaven.
