My Father is honored ¹  by this, that ²  you bear ³  much fruit and show that you are ⁴  my disciples.

So Pilate came outside to them and said, “What accusation ¹  do you bring against this man?” ² 

sold ¹  a field ²  that belonged to him and brought the money ³  and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

When his accusers stood up, they did not charge ¹  him with any of the evil deeds I had suspected. ² 

When the ship was caught in it ¹  and could not head into ²  the wind, we gave way to it and were driven ³  along.

When you come, bring with you the cloak I left in Troas with Carpas and the scrolls, especially the parchments.

When this voice was conveyed from heaven, we ourselves ¹  heard it, for we were with him on the holy mountain. ² 

yet even ¹  angels, who are much more powerful, ²  do not bring a slanderous ³  judgment against them before the Lord. ⁴ 

When it was evening, after sunset, they brought to him all who were sick and demon-possessed.

A member of the crowd said to him, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that makes him mute.

He answered them, ¹  “You ²  unbelieving ³  generation! How much longer ⁴  must I be with you? How much longer must I endure ⁵  you? ⁶  Bring him to me.”

So they brought the boy ¹  to him. When the spirit saw him, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He ²  fell on the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.

Then ¹  they brought the colt to Jesus, threw their cloaks ²  on it, and he sat on it. ³ 

So ¹  they brought one, and he said to them, “Whose image ²  is this, and whose inscription?” They replied, ³  “Caesar’s.”

Just then ¹  some men showed up, carrying a paralyzed man ²  on a stretcher. ³  They ⁴  were trying to bring him in and place him before Jesus. ⁵ 

As ¹  they led him away, they seized Simon of Cyrene, ²  who was coming in from the country. ³  They placed the cross on his back and made him carry it behind Jesus. ⁴ 

Nicodemus, the man who had previously come to Jesus ¹  at night, ²  accompanied Joseph, ³  carrying a mixture of myrrh and aloes ⁴  weighing about seventy-five pounds. ⁵ 

Suddenly ¹  a sound ²  like a violent wind blowing ³  came from heaven ⁴  and filled the entire house where they were sitting.

For there was no one needy ¹  among them, because those who were owners of land or houses were selling ²  them ³  and bringing the proceeds from the sales

He ¹  kept back for himself part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge; he brought ²  only part of it and placed it at the apostles’ feet.
