Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes ¹  of the devil.

When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.

If ¹  anyone sees his fellow Christian ²  committing a sin not resulting in death, ³  he should ask, and God ⁴  will grant ⁵  life to the person who commits a sin not resulting in death. ⁶  There is a sin resulting in death. ⁷  I do not say that he should ask about that.

He answered them, ¹  “You ²  unbelieving ³  generation! How much longer ⁴  must I be with you? How much longer must I endure ⁵  you? ⁶  Bring him to me.”

Then ¹  he said to them, “Suppose one of you ²  has a friend, and you go to him ³  at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, ⁴ 

Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away. ¹ 

And she saw two angels in white sitting where Jesus’ body had been lying, one at the head and one at the feet.

When they were released, Peter and John ¹  went to their fellow believers ²  and reported everything the high priests and the elders had said to them.

and said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” ¹  They replied, ²  “No, we have not even ³  heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

When I was informed ¹  there would be a plot ²  against this man, I sent him to you at once, also ordering his accusers to state their charges ³  against him before you.

But about Israel he says, “All day long I held out my hands to this disobedient and stubborn people!” ¹ 

I am saying this for your benefit, not to place a limitation on you, but so that without distraction you may give notable and constant service to the Lord.

For “physical exercise ¹  has some value, but godliness is valuable in every way. It holds promise for the present life and for the life to come.”

Go ¹  instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

As the night was ending, ¹  Jesus came to them walking on the sea. ² 

When ¹  they came to the crowd, a man came to him, knelt before him,

When ¹  did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

Then one of the twelve, the one named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests

But he did not answer even one accusation, so that the governor was quite amazed.
