After Jesus ¹  had finished teaching all this to the people, ²  he entered Capernaum. ³ 

They appeared in glorious splendor and spoke about his departure ¹  that he was about to carry out ²  at Jerusalem. ³ 

For I tell you, I will not eat it again ¹  until it is fulfilled ²  in the kingdom of God.” ³ 

I have told you these things ¹  so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.

Now this happened ¹  to fulfill the word that is written in their law, ‘They hated me without reason.’ ² 

He said this ¹  to fulfill the word he had spoken, ²  “I have not lost a single one of those whom you gave me.” ³ 

(This happened ¹  to fulfill the word Jesus had spoken when he indicated ²  what kind of death he was going to die. ³ )

But the things God foretold ¹  long ago through ²  all the prophets – that his Christ ³  would suffer – he has fulfilled in this way.

So Barnabas and Saul returned to ¹  Jerusalem ²  when they had completed ³  their mission, ⁴  bringing along with them John Mark. ⁵ 

They are filled ¹  with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with ²  envy, murder, strife, deceit, hostility. They are gossips,

so that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Owe no one anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

For the whole law can be summed up in a single commandment, ¹  namely, “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” ² 

Now the church is ¹  his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. ² 

He, the very one ¹  who descended, is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious riches ¹  in Christ Jesus.

and you have been filled in him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

And tell Archippus, “See to it that you complete the ministry you received in the Lord.”

He came to a town called Nazareth ¹  and lived there. Then what had been spoken by the prophets was fulfilled, that Jesus ²  would be called a Nazarene. ³ 

So Jesus replied ¹  to him, “Let it happen now, ²  for it is right for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John ³  yielded ⁴  to him.
