I came from the Father and entered into the world, but in turn, ¹  I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.” ² 

And he is also the father of the circumcised, ¹  who are not only circumcised, but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham possessed when he was still uncircumcised. ² 

Blessed is ¹  the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

Besides, we have experienced discipline from ¹  our earthly fathers ²  and we respected them; shall we not submit ourselves all the more to the Father of spirits and receive life? ³ 

Everyone who denies the Son does not have the Father either. The person who confesses the Son has the Father also. ¹ 

Grace, mercy, and ¹  peace will be with us from God the Father and from ²  Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

They ¹  immediately left the boat and their father and followed him.

So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. ¹ 

honor your father and mother, ¹  and love your neighbor as yourself.” ² 

Fill up then the measure of your ancestors!

then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother.

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, ¹ 

Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”

So ¹  they made signs to the baby’s ²  father, ³  inquiring what he wanted to name his son. ⁴ 

Then ¹  his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, ² 

He has done this ¹  to show mercy ²  to our ancestors, ³  and to remember his holy covenant ⁴  –

the oath ¹  that he swore to our ancestor ²  Abraham. This oath grants ³ 

Be merciful, ¹  just as your Father is merciful.

Thus ¹  I grant ²  to you a kingdom, ³  just as my Father granted to me,

The Father loves the Son and has placed all things under his authority. ¹
