Are you so foolish? Although you began ¹  with ²  the Spirit, are you now trying to finish ³  by human effort? ⁴ 

But just as at that time the one born by natural descent ¹  persecuted the one born according to the Spirit, ²  so it is now.

for you were at one time darkness, but now you are ¹  light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light –

because of your participation ¹  in the gospel from the first day until now. ² 

And so ¹  you know what holds him back, ²  so that he will be revealed in his own time.

But as it is, ¹  you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

He trusts in God – let God, if he wants to, deliver him now ¹  because he said, ‘I am God’s Son’!”

For from now on ¹  there will be five in one household divided, three against two and two against three.

But from now on ¹  the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand ²  of the power ³  of God.”

for you have had five husbands, and the man you are living with ¹  now is not your husband. This you said truthfully!”

The disciples replied, ¹  “Rabbi, the Jewish leaders ²  were just now trying ³  to stone you to death! Are ⁴  you going there again?”

But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will grant ¹  you.” ² 

But now I am going to the one who sent me, ¹  and not one of you is asking me, ‘Where are you going?’ ² 

His disciples said, “Look, now you are speaking plainly ¹  and not in obscure figures of speech! ² 

Now ¹  send men to Joppa ²  and summon a man named Simon, ³  who is called Peter.

Therefore, although God has overlooked ¹  such times of ignorance, ²  he now commands all people ³  everywhere to repent, ⁴ 

And now what are you waiting for? ¹  Get up, ²  be baptized, and have your sins washed away, ³  calling on his name.’ ⁴ 

And now I stand here on trial ¹  because of my hope in the promise made by God to our ancestors, ² 

And now I advise ¹  you to keep up your courage, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only the ship will be lost. ² 

Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous ¹  by his blood, ²  we will be saved through him from God’s wrath. ³
