For they have gone forth ¹  on behalf of “The Name,” ²  accepting nothing from the pagans. ³ 

I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away ¹  your crown. ² 

He told him, ¹  “See that you do not say anything to anyone, ²  but go, show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering that Moses commanded ³  for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.” ⁴ 

And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about this.”

He strictly ordered that no one should know about this, ¹  and told them to give her something to eat.

Jesus ordered them not to tell anything. But as much as he ordered them not to do this, they proclaimed it all the more. ¹ 

Her ¹  parents were astonished, but he ordered them to tell no one ²  what had happened.

Do not carry ¹  a money bag, ²  a traveler’s bag, ³  or sandals, and greet no one on the road. ⁴ 

(Now the men ¹  who were traveling with him stood there speechless, ²  because they heard the voice but saw no one.) ³ 

But get up, ¹  go down, and accompany them without hesitation, ²  because I have sent them.”

For it seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us ¹  not to place any greater burden on you than these necessary rules: ² 

But Paul called out loudly, ¹  “Do not harm yourself, ²  for we are all here!”

So because these facts ¹  are indisputable, ²  you must keep quiet ³  and not do anything reckless. ⁴ 

Then the commanding officer ¹  sent the young man away, directing him, ²  “Tell no one that you have reported ³  these things to me.”

I found he ¹  was accused with reference to controversial questions ²  about their law, but no charge against him deserved death or imprisonment. ³ 

He ordered the centurion ¹  to guard Paul, ²  but to let him have some freedom, ³  and not to prevent any of his friends ⁴  from meeting his needs. ⁵ 

So after they came back here with me, ¹  I did not postpone the case, ²  but the next day I sat ³  on the judgment seat ⁴  and ordered the man to be brought.

When ¹  they had heard my case, ²  they wanted to release me, ³  because there was no basis for a death sentence ⁴  against me.

so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you wait for the revelation ¹  of our Lord Jesus Christ.

as sorrowful, but always rejoicing, as poor, but making many rich, as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
