But the wise ones took flasks of olive oil with their lamps.

Joseph ¹  took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, ² 

So ¹  they seized him, ²  killed him, and threw his body ³  out of the vineyard. ⁴ 

And after taking the cup and giving thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it.

They offered him wine mixed with myrrh, ¹  but he did not take it.

Now there were seven brothers. The first one married a woman ¹  and died without children.

Then ¹  he took a cup, ²  and after giving thanks he said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves.

For we have all received from his fullness one gracious gift after another. ¹ 

The one who has accepted his testimony has confirmed clearly that God is truthful. ¹ 

Judas ¹  took the piece of bread and went out immediately. (Now it was night.) ² 

He ¹  will glorify me, ²  because he will receive ³  from me what is mine ⁴  and will tell it to you. ⁵ 

Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged severely. ¹ 

And after he said this, he breathed on them and said, ¹  “Receive the Holy Spirit. ² 

So the lame man ¹  paid attention to them, expecting to receive something from them.

You ¹  received the law by decrees given by angels, ²  but you did not obey ³  it.” ⁴ 

These two ¹  went down and prayed for them so that they would receive the Holy Spirit.

Then Peter and John placed their hands on the Samaritans, ¹  and they received the Holy Spirit. ² 

After ¹  the city officials ²  had received bail ³  from Jason and the others, they released them.

If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward.
