He did this when he revealed ¹  to us the secret ²  of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth ³  in Christ, ⁴ 

not like those who do their work only when someone is watching ¹  – as people-pleasers – but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart. ² 

For this is God’s will: that you become holy, ¹  that you keep away from sexual immorality,

and they will come to their senses and escape the devil’s trap where they are held captive ¹  to do his will. ² 

For you need endurance in order to do God’s will and so receive what is promised. ¹ 

For God wants you ¹  to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.

So then let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator as they do good. ¹ 

for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men ¹  carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is ¹  my brother and sister and mother.”

“Father, if you are willing, take ¹  this cup ²  away from me. Yet not my will but yours ³  be done.”

He released the man they asked for, who had been thrown in prison for insurrection and murder. But he handed Jesus over ¹  to their will. ² 

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of the one who sent me ¹  and to complete ²  his work. ³ 

If anyone wants to do God’s will, ¹  he will know about my teaching, whether it is from God or whether I speak from my own authority. ² 

We know that God doesn’t listen to ¹  sinners, but if anyone is devout ²  and does his will, God ³  listens to ⁴  him. ⁵ 

and I always ask ¹  in my prayers, if perhaps now at last I may succeed in visiting you according to the will of God. ² 

From Paul, ¹  an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints [in Ephesus], ²  the faithful ³  in Christ Jesus.

In Christ ¹  we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, ²  since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will

“Then I said, ‘Here I am: ¹  I have come – it is written of me in the scroll of the book – to do your will, O God.’” ² 

then he says, “Here I am: I have come to do your will.” ¹  He does away with ²  the first to establish the second.

And the world is passing away with all its desires, but the person who does the will of God remains ¹  forever.
