After ¹  Jesus ²  called ³  the twelve ⁴  together, he gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure ⁵  diseases,

People will be fainting from fear ¹  and from the expectation of what is coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. ² 

Then ¹  they will see the Son of Man arriving in a cloud ²  with power and great glory.

But from now on ¹  the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand ²  of the power ³  of God.”

After ¹  making Peter and John ²  stand in their midst, they began to inquire, “By what power or by what name ³  did you do this?”

Now Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and miraculous signs ¹  among the people.

who was appointed the Son-of-God-in-power ¹  according to the Holy Spirit ²  by the resurrection ³  from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord.

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, ¹  nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers,

My conversation and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

Now God indeed raised the Lord and he will raise us by his power.

to another performance of miracles, to another prophecy, and to another discernment of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

by truthful ¹  teaching, ²  by the power of God, with weapons of righteousness both for the right hand and for the left, ³ 

Indeed, the signs of an apostle were performed among you with great perseverance ¹  by signs and wonders and powerful deeds. ² 

Does God then give ¹  you the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law ²  or by your believing what you heard? ³ 

being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might for the display of ¹  all patience and steadfastness, joyfully

Toward this goal ¹  I also labor, struggling according to his power that powerfully ²  works in me.

The arrival of the lawless one ¹  will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of miracles ²  and signs and false wonders,

For God did not give us a Spirit ¹  of fear but of power and love and self-control.

while God confirmed their witness ¹  with signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed ²  according to his will.
