He leads priests away stripped ¹  and overthrows ²  the potentates. ³ 

Their children ¹  are firmly established in their presence, ²  their offspring before their eyes.

“I myself ¹  have installed ²  my king on Zion, my holy hill.”

Majestic splendor emanates from him; ¹  his sanctuary is firmly established and beautiful. ² 

And he said to them, “Why are you cowardly? Do you still not have faith?”

For this reason do not be foolish, but be wise ¹  by understanding ²  what the Lord’s will is.

He is like ¹  a tree planted by flowing streams; ²  it ³  yields ⁴  its fruit at the proper time, ⁵  and its leaves never fall off. ⁶  He succeeds in everything he attempts. ⁷ 

He must hold firmly to the faithful message as it has been taught, ¹  so that he will be able to give exhortation in such healthy teaching ²  and correct those who speak against it.

At the two corners ¹  they were doubled at the lower end and ²  finished together at the top in one ring. So he did for both.

Exercise appropriate caution so that there is no negligence in this matter. Why should danger increase to the point that kings sustain damage?”

Or a person is chastened ¹  by pain on his bed, and with the continual strife of his bones, ² 

So my heart rejoices and I am happy; ¹  My life is safe. ² 

He gives me the agility of a deer; ¹  he enables me to negotiate the rugged terrain. ² 

He does not fear bad news. He ¹  is confident; he trusts ²  in the Lord.

The ropes of the wicked tighten around ¹  me, but I do not forget your law.

When he established the heavens, I was there; when he marked out the horizon ¹  over the face of the deep,

Look, the Lord will throw you far away, ¹  you mere man! ²  He will wrap you up tightly. ³ 

I will establish my covenant with you, and then you will know that I am the Lord.

that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love,

Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David; ¹  such is my gospel, ²
