Timna, a concubine of Esau’s son Eliphaz, bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These were the sons ¹  of Esau’s wife Adah.

¹ “If a man seduces a virgin ²  who is not engaged ³  and has sexual relations with her, he must surely endow ⁴  her to be his wife.

You must have one law for the person who sins unintentionally, both for the native-born among the Israelites and for the resident foreigner who lives among them.

If a virgin is engaged to a man and another man meets ¹  her in the city and has sexual relations with ²  her,

Suppose a man comes across a virgin who is not engaged and overpowers and rapes ¹  her and they are discovered.

So if you have ordinary lawsuits, do you appoint as judges those who have no standing in the church? ¹

And Adam had marital relations ¹  with his wife again, and she gave birth to a son. She named him Seth, saying, “God has given ²  me another child ³  in place of Abel because Cain killed him.”

Then Abimelech exclaimed, “What in the world have you done to us? ¹  One of the men ²  might easily have had sexual relations with ³  your wife, and you would have brought guilt on us!”
