From Merari came the family of the Mahlites and the family of the Mushites; these were ¹  the families of Merari.

The priest gave to the officers of the units of hundreds King David’s spears and the shields that were kept in the Lord’s temple.

Yet Joshua spared ¹  Rahab the prostitute, her father’s family, ²  and all who belonged to her. She lives in Israel ³  to this very day because she hid the messengers Joshua sent to spy on Jericho. ⁴ 

Now the Danites ¹  took what Micah had made, as well as his priest, and came to Laish, where the people were undisturbed and unsuspecting. They struck them down with the sword and burned the city. ²
