Then the man ¹  searched. He began with the oldest and finished with the youngest. The cup was found in Benjamin’s sack!

When you enter the vineyard of your neighbor you may eat as many grapes as you please, ¹  but you must not take away any in a container. ² 

The one who weeps as he walks along, carrying his bag ¹  of seed, will certainly come in with a shout of joy, carrying his sheaves of grain. ²

Then put ¹  my cup – the silver cup – in the mouth of the youngest one’s sack, along with the money for his grain.” He did as Joseph instructed. ² 

They are to tie the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod by blue cord, so that it may be above the waistband of the ephod, and so that the breastpiece will not be loose from the ephod.

So each man quickly lowered ¹  his sack to the ground and opened it.
