For I decided to be concerned about nothing ¹  among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know.

Formerly when you did not know God, you were enslaved to beings that by nature are not gods at all. ¹ 

For everyone who lives on milk is inexperienced in the message of righteousness, because he is an infant.

Now ¹  by this we know that we have come to know God: ²  if we keep his commandments.

Jesus replied, ¹  “I tell you the solemn truth, ²  unless a person is born from above, ³  he cannot see the kingdom of God.” ⁴ 

Now we know that you know everything ¹  and do not need anyone ²  to ask you anything. ³  Because of this ⁴  we believe that you have come from God.”

Now this ¹  is eternal life ²  – that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, ³  whom you sent.

He told them, “You are not permitted to know ¹  the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.

This ¹  became known to all who lived in Jerusalem, so that in their own language ²  they called that field ³  Hakeldama, that is, “Field of Blood.”)

And God, who knows the heart, ¹  has testified ²  to them by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, ³ 

But the evil spirit replied to them, ¹  “I know about Jesus ²  and I am acquainted with ³  Paul, but who are you?” ⁴ 

He gathered ¹  these ²  together, along with the workmen in similar trades, ³  and said, “Men, you know that our prosperity ⁴  comes from this business.

While ¹  they were staying there many days, Festus ²  explained Paul’s case to the king to get his opinion, ³  saying, “There is a man left here as a prisoner by Felix.

Or do you not know, brothers and sisters ¹  (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law is lord over a person ²  as long as he lives?

For we do not write you anything other than what ¹  you can read and also understand. But I hope that you will understand completely ² 

My aim is to know him, ¹  to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings, ²  and to be like him in his death,

With flaming fire he will mete out ¹  punishment on those who do not know God ²  and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

correcting ¹  opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance and then knowledge of the truth ² 

They profess to know God but with their deeds they deny him, since they are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.
