“With it you are to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony,

Then the Lord called to Moses and spoke to him ¹  from the Meeting Tent: ² 

and assemble the whole congregation at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.” ¹ 

Then Moses and Aaron stood before the tent of meeting.

Then Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony. ¹ 

Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the guard at the entrance to the meeting tent.

The light in his tent grows dark; his lamp above him is extinguished. ¹ 

“On the first day of the first month you are to set up ¹  the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.

You are to put the altar for the burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.

When all the people would see the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, all the people, each one at the entrance of his own tent, would rise and worship. ¹ 

Make your tent larger, stretch your tent curtains farther out! ¹  Spare no effort, lengthen your ropes, and pound your stakes deep. ² 

¹ Moses took ²  the tent ³  and pitched it outside the camp, at a good distance ⁴  from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. Anyone ⁵  seeking ⁶  the Lord would go out to the tent of meeting that was outside the camp.

But our tents have been destroyed. The ropes that held them in place have been ripped apart. ¹  Our children are gone and are not coming back. ²  There is no survivor to put our tents back up, no one left to hang their tent curtains in place.

He rejected the tent of Joseph; he did not choose the tribe of Ephraim.

“You are to make a covering ¹  for the tent out of ram skins dyed red and over that a covering of fine leather. ² 

He made a covering for the tent out of ram skins dyed red and over that a covering of fine leather. ¹ 

and the gold altar, and the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; and the curtain for the entrance to the tent;

And he put the lampstand in the tent of meeting opposite the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.

And he put the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the curtain,

Whenever they entered ¹  the tent of meeting, and whenever they approached ²  the altar, they would wash, ³  just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
