But the house of Israel is unwilling to listen to you, ¹  because they are not willing to listen to me, ²  for the whole house of Israel is hard-headed and hard-hearted. ³ 

“‘My servant David will be king over them; there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow ¹  my regulations and carefully observe my statutes. ² 

If anyone ¹  hears my words and does not obey them, ²  I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world. ³ 

But some from the religious party of the Pharisees ¹  who had believed stood up and said, “It is necessary ²  to circumcise the Gentiles ³  and to order them to observe ⁴  the law of Moses.”

but now is disclosed, and through the prophetic scriptures has been made known to all the nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith –

For all who ¹  rely on doing the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not keep on doing everything written in the book of the law.” ² 

after they were disobedient long ago ¹  when God patiently waited ²  in the days of Noah as an ark was being constructed. In the ark ³  a few, that is eight souls, were delivered through water.

Blessed is the one who reads the words of this ¹  prophecy aloud, ²  and blessed are ³  those who hear and obey ⁴  the things written in it, because the time is near! ⁵ 

So ¹  the dragon became enraged at the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her children, ²  those who keep ³  God’s commandments and hold to ⁴  the testimony about Jesus. ⁵  (12:18) And the dragon ⁶  stood ⁷  on the sand ⁸  of the seashore. ⁹ 

But ¹  he said to me, “Do not do this! ²  I am a fellow servant ³  with you and with your brothers the prophets, and with those who obey ⁴  the words of this book. Worship God!”

and showing covenant faithfulness ¹  to a thousand generations ²  of those who love me and keep my commandments.

but I show covenant faithfulness ¹  to the thousands ²  who choose ³  me and keep my commandments.

So keep the commandments, statutes, and ordinances that I today am commanding you to do.

So you must keep his ¹  commandments, live according to his standards, ²  and revere him.

Why then have you broken the oath you made before the Lord and disobeyed the order I gave you?” ¹ 

Who is the Almighty, that ¹  we should serve him? What would we gain if we were to pray ²  to him?’ ³ 

They are absolutely terrified, ¹  for God defends the godly. ² 

I carefully obey your commands; ¹  I do not deviate from them. ² 

The Lord always proves faithful and reliable ¹  to those who follow the demands of his covenant. ² 

Rejoice in the Lord and be happy, you who are godly! Shout for joy, all you who are morally upright! ¹
