Yes, as your judgments unfold, ¹  O Lord, we wait for you. We desire your fame and reputation to grow. ² 

The following is a record of what Jeremiah son of Hilkiah prophesied. ¹  He was one of the priests who lived at Anathoth in the territory of the tribe of Benjamin.

Instead they have followed the stubborn inclinations of their own hearts. They have paid allegiance to ¹  the gods called Baal, ²  as their fathers ³  taught them to do.

But they just keep saying, ‘We do not care what you say! ¹  We will do whatever we want to do! We will continue to behave wickedly and stubbornly!’” ² 

In the tenth year that Zedekiah was ruling over Judah the Lord spoke to Jeremiah. ¹  That was the same as the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar.

“I, Lord, make the following promise: ¹  ‘I have made a covenant with the day ²  and with the night that they will always come at their proper times. Only if you people ³  could break that covenant

But I, the Lord, make the following promise: ¹  I have made a covenant governing the coming of day and night. I have established the fixed laws governing heaven and earth.

¹ In the third year ²  of King Belshazzar’s reign, a vision appeared to me, Daniel, after the one that had appeared to me previously. ³ 

We have not obeyed ¹  the LORD our God by living according to ²  his laws ³  that he set before us through his servants the prophets.

There is only cursing, lying, murder, stealing, and adultery. They resort to violence and bloodshed. ¹ 

He will roar like a lion, and they will follow the Lord; when he roars, his children will come trembling ¹  from the west.

Tell your children ¹  about it, have your children tell their children, and their children the following generation. ² 

As it is written in Isaiah the prophet, ¹  “Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way, ² 

He also said to them, “You neatly reject the commandment of God in order to set up ¹  your tradition.

Jesus said to him, “Go, your faith has healed you.” Immediately he regained ¹  his sight and followed him on the road.

Both those who went ahead and those who followed kept shouting, “Hosanna! ¹  Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! ² 

He also told them a parable: “Someone who is blind cannot lead another who is blind, can he? ¹  Won’t they both fall ²  into a pit?

Soon ¹  afterward ²  Jesus ³  went to a town ⁴  called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went with him.

And immediately he regained ¹  his sight and followed Jesus, ²  praising ³  God. When ⁴  all the people saw it, they too ⁵  gave praise to God.

I am telling you the things I have seen while with the ¹  Father; ²  as for you, ³  practice the things you have heard from the ⁴  Father!”
