The city remained under siege until King Zedekiah’s eleventh year.

Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. No one regretted his death; ¹  he was buried in the City of David, ²  but not in the royal tombs.

If a king judges the poor in truth, ¹  his throne ²  will be established forever.

in Nebuchadnezzar’s eighteenth year, ¹  832 people from Jerusalem;

I will set my face against you. You will be struck down before your enemies, those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee when there is no one pursuing you.

The Lord said to Samuel, “Do everything the people request of you. ¹  For it is not you that they have rejected, but it is me that they have rejected as their king.

In the first ¹  year of King Belshazzar of Babylon, Daniel had ²  a dream filled with visions ³  while he was lying on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream in summary fashion. ⁴ 

The ¹  ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive ruling authority ²  as kings with the beast for one hour.

From that land he went ¹  to Assyria, ²  where he built Nineveh, ³  Rehoboth-Ir, ⁴  Calah, ⁵ 

In King Rehoboam’s fifth year, King Shishak of Egypt attacked Jerusalem.

At that time the generals ¹  of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon marched to Jerusalem and besieged the city. ² 

Jeroboam did not regain power during the reign of Abijah. ¹  The Lord struck him down and he died.

Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned for eleven years in Jerusalem. ¹  He did evil in the sight of ²  the Lord his God.

He entered Jerusalem in the fifth month of the seventh year of the king.

You defend ¹  the fatherless and oppressed, ²  so that mere mortals may no longer terrorize them. ³
