A day of the Lord ¹  is about to come when your possessions ²  will be divided as plunder in your midst.

And which of you by worrying can add even one hour to his life? ¹ 

Now ¹  when Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying down, ²  sick with a fever.

And looking at those who were sitting around him in a circle, he said, “Here ¹  are my mother and my brothers!

When a strong man, ¹  fully armed, guards his own palace, ²  his possessions are safe. ³ 

The two were running together, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter ¹  and reached the tomb first. ² 

Calling for lights, the jailer ¹  rushed in and fell down ²  trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas.

Even from among your own group ¹  men ²  will arise, teaching perversions of the truth ³  to draw the disciples away after them.

But there are some Jews from the province of Asia ¹  who should be here before you and bring charges, ²  if they have anything against me.

Those guilty of sin ¹  must be rebuked ²  before all, ³  as a warning to the rest. ⁴

“‘For the prince there will be land on both sides of the holy allotment and the allotted city, alongside the holy allotment and the allotted city, on the west side and on the east side; it will be comparable in length to one of the portions, from the west border to the east border

So Judah and his brothers ¹  came back to Joseph’s house. He was still there, ²  and they threw themselves to the ground before him.

On the next day ¹  Moses sat to judge ²  the people, and the people stood around Moses from morning until evening.
