He is secure at all times. ¹  He has no regard for your commands; ²  he disdains all his enemies. ³ 

As for the actions of people ¹  – just as you have commanded, I have not followed in the footsteps of violent men. ² 

The commands to fear the Lord are right ¹  and endure forever. ²  The judgments given by the Lord are trustworthy and absolutely just. ³ 

Rely ¹  on the Lord! Obey his commands! ²  Then he will permit you ³  to possess the land; you will see the demise of evil men. ⁴ 

God says this to the evildoer: ¹  “How can you declare my commands, and talk about my covenant? ² 

Whoever presents a thank-offering honors me. ¹  To whoever obeys my commands, I will reveal my power to deliver.” ² 

O Lord, teach me how you want me to live! ¹  Then I will obey your commands. ²  Make me wholeheartedly committed to you! ³ 

Praise the Lord, you angels of his, you powerful warriors who carry out his decrees and obey his orders! ¹ 

It is like the dew of Hermon, ¹  which flows down upon the hills of Zion. ²  Indeed ³  that is where the Lord has decreed a blessing will be available – eternal life. ⁴ 

The one who despises instruction ¹  will pay the penalty, ²  but whoever esteems instruction ³  will ⁴  be rewarded. ⁵ 

Having heard everything, I have reached this conclusion: ¹  Fear God and keep his commandments, because this is the whole duty ²  of man.

If the Lord who commands armies ¹  had not left us a few survivors, we would have quickly become like Sodom, ²  we would have become like Gomorrah.

Indeed, the Lord who commands armies has planned a day of judgment, ¹  for ²  all the high and mighty, for all who are proud – they will be humiliated;

Look, the sovereign Lord who commands armies ¹  is about to remove from Jerusalem ²  and Judah every source of security, including ³  all the food and water, ⁴ 

Why do you crush my people and grind the faces of the poor?” ¹  The sovereign Lord who commands armies ²  has spoken.

The Lord who commands armies told me this: ¹  “Many houses will certainly become desolate, large, impressive houses will have no one living in them. ² 

They called out to one another, “Holy, holy, holy ¹  is the Lord who commands armies! ²  His majestic splendor fills the entire earth!”

You must recognize the authority of the Lord who commands armies. ¹  He is the one you must respect; he is the one you must fear. ² 

For this reason ¹  the sovereign master, the Lord who commands armies, will make his healthy ones emaciated. ²  His majestic glory will go up in smoke. ³ 

“I will rise up against them,” says the Lord who commands armies. “I will blot out all remembrance of Babylon and destroy all her people, ¹  including the offspring she produces,” ²  says the Lord.
