But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. ¹  He bent down ²  and saw only the strips of linen cloth; ³  then he went home, ⁴  wondering ⁵  what had happened. ⁶ 

But when ¹  some were stubborn ²  and refused to believe, reviling ³  the Way ⁴  before the congregation, he left ⁵  them and took the disciples with him, ⁶  addressing ⁷  them every day ⁸  in the lecture hall ⁹  of Tyrannus.

And as you Philippians know, at the beginning of my gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in this matter of giving and receiving except you alone.

(The ripe fruit ¹  you greatly desired ²  has gone from you, and all your luxury ³  and splendor ⁴  have gone from you – they will never ever be found again!) ⁵ 

The Lord went on his way ¹  when he had finished speaking ²  to Abraham. Then Abraham returned home. ³ 

She left immediately, ¹  removed her veil, and put on her widow’s clothes.

So the princes of Moab departed ¹  and went back to Balak and said, “Balaam refused to come with us.”

“Exact vengeance ¹  for the Israelites on the Midianites ²  – after that you will be gathered to your people.” ³ 

They left and went up to the hill country, coming to the Eshcol Valley, ¹  which they scouted out.

When he left there, he met ¹  Jehonadab, son of Rekab, who had been looking for him. ²  Jehu greeted him and asked, ³  “Are you as committed to me as I am to you?” ⁴  Jehonadab answered, “I am!” Jehu replied, “If so, give me your hand.” ⁵  So he offered his hand and Jehu ⁶  pulled him up into the chariot.

The wicked are turned back and sent to Sheol; ¹  this is the destiny of ²  all the nations that ignore ³  God,

Though the stillborn child ¹  came into the world ²  for no reason ³  and departed into darkness, though its name is shrouded in darkness, ⁴ 

The following events also occurred ¹  while the Babylonian forces ²  had temporarily withdrawn from Jerusalem ³  because the army of Pharaoh was coming.

“As in the days when you departed from the land of Egypt, I will show you ¹  miraculous deeds.” ² 

Now when Jesus learned of this, he went away from there. Great ¹  crowds ²  followed him, and he healed them all.

Then ¹  Jesus rebuked ²  the demon and it came out of him, and the boy was healed from that moment.

She went home and found the child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

At this point ¹  their eyes were opened and they recognized ²  him. ³  Then ⁴  he vanished out of their sight.

Now ¹  during the blessing ²  he departed ³  and was taken up into heaven. ⁴ 

because you will not leave my soul in Hades, ¹  nor permit your Holy One to experience ²  decay.
