But at this statement, the man ¹  looked sad and went away sorrowful, for he was very rich. ²

Joshua and his whole army caught them by surprise at the Waters of Merom and attacked them. ¹

Saul told his armor bearer, “Draw your sword and stab me with it. Otherwise these uncircumcised people will come and torture me.” ¹  But his armor bearer refused to do it, because he was very afraid. So Saul took the sword and fell on it.

When evil men attack me ¹  to devour my flesh, ²  when my adversaries and enemies attack me, ³  they stumble and fall. ⁴ 

like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds after the rain. ¹  This was the appearance of the surrounding brilliant light; it looked like the glory of the Lord. When I saw ²  it, I threw myself face down, and I heard a voice speaking.

While they were striking them down, I was left alone, and I threw myself face down and cried out, “Ah, sovereign Lord! Will you destroy the entire remnant of Israel when you pour out your fury on Jerusalem?”

It was like the vision I saw when he ¹  came to destroy the city, and the vision I saw by the Kebar River. I threw myself face down.

As he spoke with me, I fell into a trance with my face to the ground. But he touched me and stood me upright. ¹ 

So ¹  I threw myself down ²  at his feet to worship him, but ³  he said, “Do not do this! ⁴  I am only ⁵  a fellow servant ⁶  with you and your brothers ⁷  who hold to the testimony about ⁸  Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Moses quickly bowed ¹  to the ground and worshiped

The fourth lot belonged to the tribe of Issachar ¹  by its clans.

The sixth lot belonged to the tribe of Naphtali ¹  by its clans.

He took a pair ¹  of oxen and cut them up.
