Like ¹  a door that turns on its hinges, ²  so a sluggard turns ³  on his bed.

A gentle response ¹  turns away anger, but a harsh word ²  stirs up wrath. ³ 

but when one ¹  turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. ² 

As for his people, ¹  he turned ²  a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into springs of water.

However, if you ¹  turn aside and do not obey, but are lured away to worship and serve other gods,

In the north ¹  when he is at work, ²  I do not see him; ³  when he turns ⁴  to the south, I see no trace of him.

who frustrates the omens of the empty talkers ¹  and humiliates ²  the omen readers, who overturns the counsel of the wise men ³  and makes their advice ⁴  seem foolish,
