and the one who sees me sees the one who sent me. ¹ 

For he ¹  knows deceitful ²  men; when he sees evil, will he not ³  consider it? ⁴ 

The Lord watches ¹  from heaven; he sees all people. ² 

until the Lord looks down from heaven and sees what has happened. ¹ 

He sees the sword coming against the land, blows the trumpet, ¹  and warns the people, ² 

“Do you have eyes of flesh, ¹  or do you see ²  as a human being sees? ³ 

The Lord laughs in disgust ¹  at them, for he knows that their day is coming. ² 

His lightning bolts light up the world; the earth sees and trembles.

For this is what the sovereign master ¹  has told me: “Go, post a guard! He must report what he sees.

“But suppose he in turn has a son who notices all the sins his father commits, considers them, and does not follow his father’s example. ¹ 

For he looks to the ends of the earth and observes everything under the heavens.

For his eyes are on the ways of an individual, he observes all a person’s ¹  steps.

the oracle of the one who hears the words of God, who sees a vision from the Almighty, although falling flat on the ground ¹  with eyes open: ² 

A shrewd person ¹  sees danger ²  and hides himself, but the naive keep right on going ³  and suffer for it. ⁴ 

When he sees chariots, teams of horses, ¹  riders on donkeys, riders on camels, he must be alert, very alert.”

He has cut out channels ¹  through the rocks; his eyes have spotted ²  every precious thing.

So Hagar named the Lord who spoke to her, “You are the God who sees me,” ¹  for she said, “Here I have seen one who sees me!” ²

so that your gift may be in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you. ¹ 

The eye of him who sees me now will see me no more; ¹  your eyes will look for me, but I will be gone. ²
