Then ¹  the women remembered his words, ² 

Therefore encourage one another with these words.

For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

but in the church I want to speak five words with my mind to instruct others, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue.

Then the Pharisees ¹  went out and planned together to entrap him with his own words. ² 

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. ¹ 

Then ¹  they sent some of the Pharisees ²  and Herodians ³  to trap him with his own words. ⁴ 

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. ¹ 

But Mary treasured up all these words, pondering in her heart what they might mean. ¹

But these words seemed like pure nonsense ¹  to them, and they did not believe them.

But if you do not believe what Moses ¹  wrote, how will you believe my words?”

Another sharp division took place among the Jewish people ¹  because of these words.

With many other words he testified ¹  and exhorted them saying, “Save yourselves from this perverse ²  generation!”

The ¹  words of the prophets agree ²  with this, as it is written,

You be on guard against him ¹  too, because he vehemently opposed our words.

But ¹  she was greatly troubled ²  by his words and began to wonder about the meaning of this greeting. ³ 

“Take these words to heart, ¹  for the Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.” ² 

but ¹  they could not find a way to do it, ²  for all the people hung on his words. ³ 

For the one whom God has sent ¹  speaks the words of God, for he does not give the Spirit sparingly. ²
