For I do not do the good I want, but I do the very evil I do not want!

Jesus stopped, called them, and said, “What do you want me to do for you?”

He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”

Treat others ¹  in the same way that you would want them to treat you. ² 

“What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, ¹  “Lord, let me see again.” ² 

They ¹  said to him, “Where do you want us to prepare ²  it?”

With regard to spiritual gifts, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  I do not want you to be uninformed. ³ 

Tell me, you who want to be under the law, do you not understand the law? ¹ 

Now in fact all who want to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

He answered, ¹  “I told you already and you didn’t listen. ²  Why do you want to hear it ³  again? You people ⁴  don’t want to become his disciples too, do you?”

In ¹  everything, treat others as you would want them ²  to treat you, ³  for this fulfills ⁴  the law and the prophets.

If ¹  you had known what this means: ‘I want mercy and not sacrifice,’ ²  you would not have condemned the innocent.

He said, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So ¹  the slaves replied, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them?’

The ¹  governor asked them, “Which of the two do you want me to release for you?” And they said, “Barabbas!”

They went out from there and passed through Galilee. But ¹  Jesus ²  did not want anyone to know,

So Pilate asked them, ¹  “Do you want me to release the king of the Jews for you?”

So Jesus said to the twelve, “You don’t want to go away too, do you?” ¹ 

You don’t want to kill me the way you killed the Egyptian yesterday, do you?’ ¹ 

For you are bringing some surprising things ¹  to our ears, so we want to know what they ²  mean.”

But if you want anything in addition, ¹  it will have to be settled ²  in a legal assembly. ³
