If Cain is to be avenged seven times as much, then Lamech seventy-seven times!” ¹ 

Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, I tell you, but seventy-seven times! ¹ 

God says, ¹  “At the appointed times, ²  I judge ³  fairly.

I thought about the days of old, about ancient times. ¹ 

I desperately long to know ¹  your regulations at all times.

“Speak to the Israelites and tell them, ‘These are the Lord’s appointed times which you must proclaim as holy assemblies – my appointed times: ¹ 

Then Peter came to him and said, “Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother ¹  who sins against me? As many as seven times?”

But ¹  other seed fell on good soil and produced grain, sprouting and growing; some yielded thirty times as much, some sixty, and some a hundred times.”

Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to you saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive ¹  him.”

At times you were publicly exposed to abuse and afflictions, and at other times you came to share with others who were treated in that way.

“Three times ¹  in the year you must make a pilgrim feast ²  to me.

At ¹  three times in the year all your males will appear before the Lord God. ² 

So Moses spoke to the Israelites about the appointed times of the Lord. ¹ 

They contacted ¹  me four times in this way, and I responded the same way each time. ² 

These ten times ¹  you have been reproaching me; ²  you are not ashamed to attack me! ³ 

Will he find delight ¹  in the Almighty? Will he call out to God at all times?

“Indeed, God does all these things, twice, three times, in his dealings ²  with a person,

Consequently ¹  the Lord provides safety for the oppressed; ²  he provides safety in times of trouble. ³ 

by saving their lives from death ¹  and sustaining them during times of famine. ² 

But the Lord delivers the godly; ¹  he protects them in times of trouble. ²
