and though my physical condition put you to the test, you did not despise or reject me. ¹  Instead, you welcomed me as though I were an angel of God, ²  as though I were Christ Jesus himself! ³

Yet the Lord our God is compassionate and forgiving, ¹  even though we have rebelled against him.

Though all the nations follow their respective gods, ¹  we will follow ²  the Lord our God forever.

But they did not find anything, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally ¹  two came forward

Though ¹  they found ²  no basis ³  for a death sentence, ⁴  they asked Pilate to have him executed.

but Israel even though pursuing ¹  a law of righteousness ²  did not attain it. ³
