Then ¹  Jesus ²  left that place and entered their synagogue. ³ 

because he loves our nation, ¹  and even ²  built our synagogue.” ³ 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  entered the synagogue ³  again, and a man was there who had a withered ⁴  hand.

When they heard this, all the people ¹  in the synagogue were filled with rage.

Jesus ¹  said these things while he was teaching in the synagogue ²  in Capernaum. ³ 

He addressed ¹  both Jews and Greeks in the synagogue ²  every Sabbath, attempting to persuade ³  them.

Then Paul ¹  left ²  the synagogue ³  and went to the house of a person named Titius Justus, a Gentile who worshiped God, ⁴  whose house was next door to the synagogue.

Then ¹  they went to Capernaum. ²  When the Sabbath came, ³  Jesus ⁴  went into the synagogue ⁵  and began to teach.

Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit, ¹  and he cried out, ² 

Now ¹  as soon as they left the synagogue, ²  they entered Simon and Andrew’s house, with James and John.

Then ¹  one of the synagogue rulers, ²  named Jairus, ³  came up, and when he saw Jesus, ⁴  he fell at his feet.

But Jesus, paying no attention to what was said, told the synagogue ruler, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”

They came to the house of the synagogue ruler where ¹  he saw noisy confusion and people weeping and wailing loudly. ² 

On ¹  another Sabbath, Jesus ²  entered the synagogue ³  and was teaching. Now ⁴  a man was there whose right hand was withered. ⁵ 

After they traveled through ¹  Amphipolis ²  and Apollonia, ³  they came to Thessalonica, ⁴  where there was a Jewish synagogue. ⁵ 

While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house saying, “Your daughter has died. Why trouble the teacher any longer?”

Then ¹  he rolled up ²  the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on ³  him.

Now ¹  in the synagogue ²  there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean ³  demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

Then ¹  a man named Jairus, who was a ruler ²  of the synagogue, ³  came up. Falling ⁴  at Jesus’ feet, he pleaded ⁵  with him to come to his house,

While he was still speaking, someone from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher any longer.”
