Then ¹  Jesus ²  said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” ³ 

And although you were ¹  dead ²  in your transgressions and sins,

in whom we have redemption, ¹  the forgiveness of sins.

If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven; ¹  if you retain anyone’s sins, they are retained.” ² 

and forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins ¹  against us. And do not lead us into temptation.” ² 

Thus I told you ¹  that you will die in your sins. For unless you believe that I am he, ²  you will die in your sins.”

But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, ¹  forgiving ²  us our sins and cleansing ³  us from all unrighteousness.

and he himself is the atoning sacrifice ¹  for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world. ² 

and he was baptizing them ¹  in the Jordan River as they confessed their sins.

“For if you forgive others ¹  their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive you your sins.

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

When Jesus saw their ¹  faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” ² 

to give his people knowledge of salvation ¹  through the forgiveness ²  of their sins.

When ¹  Jesus ²  saw their ³  faith he said, “Friend, ⁴  your sins are forgiven.” ⁵ 

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

Watch ¹  yourselves! If ²  your brother ³  sins, rebuke him. If ⁴  he repents, forgive him.

Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out,

“Blessed ¹  are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;

And this is my covenant with them, ¹  when I take away their sins.” ²
