Abraham and Sarah were old and advancing in years; ¹  Sarah had long since passed menopause.) ² 

Isaac ¹  said, “Since ²  I am so old, I could die at any time. ³ 

But since you abandoned me and worshiped ¹  other gods, I will not deliver you again.

Your beginning ¹  will seem so small, since your future will flourish. ² 

Can anyone teach ¹  God knowledge, since ²  he judges those that are on high? ³

O God, you have taught me since I was young, and I am still declaring ¹  your amazing deeds.

Of what ¹  use is money in the hand of a fool, ²  since he has no intention ³  of acquiring wisdom? ⁴ 

“Since, I, the Lord, do not go back on my promises, ¹  you, sons of Jacob, have not perished.
