God heard their groaning, ¹  God remembered ²  his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob,

They remembered that God was their protector, ¹  and that the sovereign God was their deliverer. ² 

Yes, ¹  he remembered the sacred promise ²  he made to Abraham his servant.

He remembered his covenant with them, and relented ¹  because of his great loyal love.

He does ¹  amazing things that will be remembered; ²  the Lord is merciful and compassionate.

to the one who remembered us when we were down, ¹  for his loyal love endures,

As for the Lord God Almighty, the Lord is the name by which he is remembered! ¹ 

I ¹  have also heard ²  the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, ³  and I have remembered my covenant. ⁴ 

He remembered ¹  that they were made of flesh, and were like a wind that blows past and does not return. ²

I will hand it over, ¹  along with the Ammonites, ²  to the tribes ³  of the east, so that the Ammonites will no longer be remembered among the nations.

But God remembered ¹  Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over ²  the earth and the waters receded.

They got up early the next morning and after worshiping the Lord, they returned to their home at Ramah. Elkanah had marital relations with ¹  his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered ²  her.
