Why do you remain inactive? Intervene and destroy him! ¹

Remain ¹  in me, and I will remain in you. ²  Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, ³  unless it remains ⁴  in ⁵  the vine, so neither can you unless you remain ⁶  in me.

But you remain; ¹  your years do not come to an end.

Your rules remain just. ¹  Give me insight so that I can live. ² 

For the upright will reside in the land, and those with integrity ¹  will remain in it,

The hope ¹  of the righteous is joy, but the expectation of the wicked will remain unfulfilled. ²
