As she continued praying to ¹  the Lord, Eli was watching her mouth.

Now ¹  the whole crowd ²  of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering. ³ 

When ¹  I returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, I fell into a trance ² 

I am praying ¹  on behalf of them. I am not praying ²  on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given me, because they belong to you. ³

“I am not praying ¹  only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe ²  in me through their testimony, ³ 

When Peter ¹  realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John Mark, ²  where many people had gathered together and were praying.

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying ¹  and singing hymns to God, ²  and the rest of ³  the prisoners were listening to them.
