Your own mouth condemns ¹  you, not I; your own lips testify against ²  you.

but these men lie in wait for their own blood, ¹  they ambush their own lives! ² 

Drink water from your own cistern and running water from your own well. ¹ 

Let another ¹  praise you, and not your own mouth; ²  someone else, ³  and not your own lips.

You plot against your brother; ¹  you slander your own brother. ² 

“‘Adulterous wife, who prefers strangers instead of her own husband!

We must pay money ¹  for our own water; ²  we must buy our own wood at a steep price. ³ 

He becomes the victim of his own destructive plans ¹  and the violence he intended for others falls on his own head. ² 

The wicked ¹  will be captured by his ²  own iniquities, ³  and he will be held ⁴  by the cords of his own sin. ⁵ 

Their land is full of worthless idols; they worship ¹  the product of their own hands, what their own fingers have fashioned.

Each will sit under his own grapevine or under his own fig tree without any fear. ¹  The Lord who commands armies has decreed it. ² 

The priest will then pour some of the olive oil into his own left hand, ¹ 

Be careful ¹  not to say, “My own ability and skill ²  have gotten me this wealth.”

He will take your best fields and vineyards and give them to his own servants.

You made Israel your very own people for all time. ¹  You, O Lord, became their God.

You made Israel your very own nation for all time. ¹  You, O Lord, became their God.

then you plunge me into a slimy pit ¹  and my own clothes abhor me.

His vigorous steps ¹  are restricted, ²  and his own counsel throws him down. ³ 

His sons must recompense ¹  the poor; his own hands ²  must return his wealth.

Let his own eyes see his destruction; ¹  let him drink of the anger of the Almighty.
