Now ¹  the whole crowd ²  of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering. ³ 

Jesus ¹  looked up ²  and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box. ³ 

The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him sour wine, ¹ 

For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are made holy.

Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.

For I am already being poured out as an offering, and the time for me to depart ¹  is at hand.

By his will ¹  we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Then ¹  he ²  sat down opposite the offering box, ³  and watched the crowd putting coins into it. Many rich people were throwing in large amounts.

He called his disciples and said to them, “I tell you the truth, ¹  this poor widow has put more into the offering box ²  than all the others. ³ 

(Jesus ¹  spoke these words near the offering box ²  while he was teaching in the temple courts. ³  No one seized him because his time ⁴  had not yet come.) ⁵ 

They will put you out of ¹  the synagogue, ²  yet a time ³  is coming when the one who kills you will think he is offering service to God. ⁴ 

and live ¹  in love, just as Christ also loved us ²  and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering ³  to God.

So when he came into the world, he said, “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me.

And every priest stands day after day ¹  serving and offering the same sacrifices again and again – sacrifices that can never take away sins.

For the bodies of those animals whose blood the high priest brings ¹  into the sanctuary as an offering for sin are burned outside the camp.

Then Jesus said to him, “See that you do not speak to anyone, ¹  but go, show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering ²  that Moses commanded, ³  as a testimony to them.” ⁴ 

He told him, ¹  “See that you do not say anything to anyone, ²  but go, show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering that Moses commanded ³  for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.” ⁴ 

Then ¹  he ordered the man ²  to tell no one, ³  but commanded him, ⁴  “Go ⁵  and show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering ⁶  for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, ⁷  as a testimony to them.” ⁸ 

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. I serve ¹  the gospel of God ²  like a priest, so that the Gentiles may become an acceptable offering, ³  sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice together with all of you.
