Balak said to Balaam, “Neither curse them at all ¹  nor bless them at all!” ² 

There you will worship gods made by human hands – wood and stone that can neither see, hear, eat, nor smell.

He has neither children nor descendants ¹  among his people, no survivor in those places he once stayed. ² 

Neither gold nor crystal ¹  can be compared with it, nor can a vase ²  of gold match its worth.

They ¹  neither know nor understand. They stumble ²  around in the dark, while all the foundations of the earth crumble. ³

“‘Surely anything which a man permanently dedicates to the Lord ¹  from all that belongs to him, whether from people, animals, or his landed property, must be neither sold nor redeemed; anything permanently dedicated is most holy to the Lord.

he must separate ¹  himself from wine and strong drink, he must drink neither vinegar ²  made from wine nor vinegar made from strong drink, nor may he drink any juice ³  of grapes, nor eat fresh grapes or raisins. ⁴ 

And when he ¹  sent you from Kadesh-Barnea and told you, “Go up and possess the land I have given you,” you rebelled against the Lord your God ²  and would neither believe nor obey him.

Suppose your own full brother, ¹  your son, your daughter, your beloved wife, or your closest friend should seduce you secretly and encourage you to go and serve other gods ²  that neither you nor your ancestors ³  have previously known, ⁴
