Lot went outside to them, shutting the door behind him.

But Lot said to them, “No, please, Lord! ¹ 

The first lot went to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

They also took Abram’s nephew ¹  Lot and his possessions when ²  they left, for Lot ³  was living in Sodom. ⁴ 

and Aaron is to cast lots over the two goats, ¹  one lot for the Lord and one lot for Azazel. ² 

Then Saul said, “Cast the lot between me and my son Jonathan!” ¹  Jonathan was indicated by lot.

Now Lot, who was traveling ¹  with Abram, also had ²  flocks, herds, and tents.

The sun had just risen ¹  over the land as Lot reached Zoar. ²

Their inheritance must be apportioned ¹  by lot among the larger and smaller groups.

The second lot belonged to the tribe of Simeon by its clans. ¹ 

The fourth lot belonged to the tribe of Issachar ¹  by its clans.

The fifth lot belonged to the tribe of Asher ¹  by its clans.

The sixth lot belonged to the tribe of Naphtali ¹  by its clans.

The seventh lot belonged to the tribe of Dan ¹  by its clans.

Such is the lot God allots the wicked, and the heritage of his appointment ¹  from God.”

Even Assyria has allied with them, lending its strength to the descendants of Lot. ¹  (Selah)

The two angels came to Sodom in the evening while ¹  Lot was sitting in the city’s gateway. ²  When Lot saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face toward the ground.

So when God destroyed ¹  the cities of the region, ²  God honored ³  Abraham’s request. He removed Lot ⁴  from the midst of the destruction when he destroyed ⁵  the cities Lot had lived in.
