For you are our glory and joy!

So there was ¹  great joy ²  in that city.

I have told you these things ¹  so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.

Joy and gladness will come ¹  to you, and many will rejoice at ²  his birth, ³ 

So ¹  they worshiped ²  him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, ³ 

And the disciples were filled with joy ¹  and with the Holy Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit ¹  is love, ²  joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ³ 

I always pray with joy in my every prayer for all of you

So welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor people like him,

Grieve, mourn, ¹  and weep. Turn your laughter ²  into mourning and your joy into despair.

Thus ¹  we are writing these things so that ²  our ³  joy may be complete. ⁴ 

The ¹  seed sown on rocky ground ²  is the person who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy.

So ¹  they left the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

These are the ones sown on rocky ground: As soon as they hear the word, they receive it with joy.

For the instant ¹  the sound of your greeting reached my ears, ²  the baby in my womb leaped for joy. ³ 

Then ¹  the seventy-two ²  returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons submit to ³  us in your name!” ⁴ 

You have made known to me the paths of life; you will make me full of joy with your presence.’ ¹ 

so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.

As I remember your tears, I long to see you, ¹  so that I may be filled with joy.

My brothers and sisters, ¹  consider it nothing but joy ²  when you fall into all sorts of trials,
